Keep Your Tulips Fresh!

Whether you pick the or buy them from your favorite florist, follow these easy steps for keeping your tulips looking their best.

1)  Fill a vase 3/4 full of with cool water. use a pack of floral preservative in the vase and mix thoroughly.

2)  Hold the end of the tulip stems under water and use a pair of scissors or a knife to gently remove the ends with a diagonal cut.  Remove any leaves or foliage that will fall off beneath the water level in your vase.  Immediately place the tulips into your already  prepared vase arrange according to your preference.

3)  Place your vase where it is not subject to direct sunlight, heat ducts or cold air drafts.   Check the water level everyday ~~ tulips can be very thirsty!  If it's low, add more water to the vase.

4)  After about 3 days, change the water in your vase.  Clean the vase before re-filling it and remember to add the floral preservative.  Hold the tulip stems underwater, giving them a fresh diagonal cut.  You may notice the tulips will continue to grow in a vase!  Repeat every day until the flowers are no longer viable.

We currently have beautiful bulb gardens for delivery & special orders.  We also have a nice selection of potted tulips, daffodils and hyacinths.
